1. To book our cellar bar space for a party, we ask for a £150 deposit, of which £100 can be reclaimed after your booking, as long as the minimum spend is met. Whilst £50 is retained as a cleaning fee. To book the garden room we ask for a deposit of £50 which can be claimed back without a minimum spend as long as all T&Cs are abided by. If the booking is for a meeting or club gathering, we usually do not charge, but we shall apply deposit rules on a case-to-case basis depending on the event, number of guests and requirements for the space.

2. The deposit shall be returned within a week from the end of the event, as long as you meet the minimum spend of £750 on the Cellar Bar, no damage is caused to the premises and no rules are broken. If the minimum spend is not reached, the difference will be deducted from the deposit, if the outstanding balance is over £100, we will retain the deposit with no additional charges being made.

3. The maximum capacity for the cellar bar is 85 people whilst the max. for the upstairs space is 25 people. The minimum number of guests required for a weekend booking is 25-30 for the downstairs. For the upstairs space there is no minimum number as well as for midweek bookings for the downstairs space.

4. Please note last orders are at 11pm (downstairs and upstairs bar) from Monday to Thursday and 00:30am on Friday and Saturday for the bar downstairs and 00:40am on Friday and Saturday for the bar upstairs. On weekends, all guests must be out of the venue by 1am without fail.

4b. The cellar bar is required for bookings on Friday and Saturday; however, you can request to not have the private bar for events from Monday to Thursday. In that case, you won’t have a minimum spend to reach, the deposit will still be kept in case of damage if one has been paid.

5. You can play your own music free of charge. You will need to bring a playlist on any device that has an AUX port or Bluetooth compatibility. You are also welcome to hire your own DJ or live music.

5.b Please be advised that music must be turn off at 11pm Monday – Thursday and 00:30am on Friday and Saturday.

6. Furniture can’t be removed from the Cellar Bar but it can be rearranged as needed.

7. You are welcome to decorate the room as you would like. Any decorations have to be removed by the guests before leaving the premises, although we are able to hold certain items overnight to be collected the next day if needed. We do not allow use of glitter, confetti, sequins or fake snow and any use of these can lead to the forfeiture of your deposit.

8. Under 18’s are allowed on the premises and can stay for the duration of your party as long as they remain with the party under the supervision of their guardian or parent. However, if anybody underage is drinking or given alcohol by an adult, we reserve the right to end your booking with us and you will lose all of your deposit.

9. The minimum age for a birthday party is 21, no exceptions shall be made. Anyone who appears to be under 25 must bring ID which can be requested by the bar staff at any time in accordance with ID laws.

10. A member of your party can be refused service and/or asked to leave for a number of reasons. This includes behaviour such as abuse, violence and intoxication.

11. Please note that other guests may use the toilets situated in the Cellar Bar, however a disabled toilet is available on the ground floor and our staff will always direct customers to this toilet in the first instance. The Cellar Bar can only be accessed by stairs so please bare this in mind when considering guests with disabilities.

12. If you cancel your party 28 days or more before your event, your deposit will be returned to you in full. After the 28 days, we reserve the right to keep the deposit and in the event that we find a replacement event for the specified date.

13. Only drinks purchased on premises may be consumed. If it is found that people are drinking drinks not purchased from us, we will confiscate them and your deposit is subject to forfeiture. Your own drinks will be returned when the party is over. Any bottles given as gifts can be given to bar staff to be stored safely in the cellar until your booking is complete.

14. You can provide your own catering, hot or cold, as long as everything is cleaned by the end of the party. We’ll provide you waste bags and a member of the staff will help you to sort out the room before leaving and inspect it with you before the end of the party. As with decorations, any food can be left and collected the next day as long as it is reasonable and properly packaged.
